Parent Connection
We offer opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s classroom and school through sharing, helping, and caring in a variety of ways. We consider parents to be our strongest supporters, and while we do offer some specific areas to get involved in, we are always open to suggestions and ideas from you!
Classroom Volunteers
There are opportunities to volunteer in the classroom through parties, crafts, and projects. Please contact your classroom teacher directly if you would like to offer support in anyway.
Events and Fundraisers
Below are some of the planned events and fundraisers for this year. If you are interested in supporting or helping with any of these activities, please contact the individual listed below or stop by the school office.
• Fun Shops to Support our FMS Teachers. Fun Shop is a chance for parents/grandparents to come together for a few hours at the school to help our teachers prepare class materials. These will be held once a month on Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 12 noon. Be on the lookout for flyers in your child’s backpack announcing each upcoming Fun Shop.
• Teacher Appreciation Meals throughout the year and Teacher Appreciation Week in May. Be on the lookout for flyers posted on the bulletin board outside the school office announcing upcoming meals.
• Box Tops for Education (two mailings during the year). We will need help counting and collecting.
